Ayam Ketawa- Ayam Ketawa, or laughing chickens, are so revered in their native Indonesia that until recent times they could only be owned by the royal family. It is one of several breeds of long-crowing chicken prized for the uniqueness and unusual length of their crows. The crow of Ayam Ketawa roosters has an unusual similarity to a human laugh and even the hens do laugh. The hens can be very broody and lay 100+ eggs. Here at Texas Berry Farms our main chicken breed we focus on are the Ayam Ketawa and thus are dedicated to bringing out their full genetic potential. We run several main lines and sub lines here that hatching eggs received will consist of at least 4 different lines probably more allowing you to have a broad gene pool to start with.
