$90.00
Main Info
Description
The True Silver is the largest of the subspecies found in China. The Male has a long black crest, chin and throat. The rest of body is white with many black lines. Tails can get quite long, with the central feathers being pure white. The hens are usually a solid drab olive brown but can have minimal vermiculatuions of the belly and breast. While the hens can vary laid back and friendly, the silver males are reputable for being aggressive towards their keepers.
There are a total of 14 subspecies of silver pheasant, but here at Texas Berry Farms we only keep the one subspecies here.
Laying season starts Early March
Combined or Multiple order will be shipped separately.
